ESS Supercharged M3: M3ANCE

This ESS supercharged M3, known as M3ANCE, came to Solo Motorsports for a calibration built around its installed hardware and fuel setup. The archived project records 1000cc injectors and a ProFlex E60 mix SMStune. After being dialed in, the car recorded 503 wheel horsepower and 367 wheel torque.

The original post was a short workshop update. This expanded feature keeps those recorded details together so owners can understand what was tested, see the car in action, and discuss a similar project with our team. The original dyno video identifies the car as a BMW E92 M3.

ESS Supercharged M3 Hardware and Calibration

The documented combination pairs the ESS supercharger setup with 1000cc injectors and an SMStune for the recorded ProFlex E60 mix. The injectors and fuel setup are part of the project description, rather than a universal parts list for every supercharged M3.

A calibration needs to suit the car in front of us. Owners considering work on another BMW should provide the supercharger details, injector information, current tune, fuel setup, and any other installed modifications. Those details help our BMW tuning team understand the complete combination before recommending the next step.

Recorded M3ANCE Dyno Figures

  • Wheel horsepower: 503 WHP
  • Wheel torque: 367 WTQ
  • Additional original report label: D.JET HP 579

The 503 WHP figure is the wheel-horsepower result quoted in the original project. The additional D.JET figure is preserved under its original label; it should not be substituted for wheel horsepower or presented as a factory engine-output rating. No stock baseline was included in the original article, so this feature does not claim a measured gain over stock.

Dyno results also depend on the vehicle, hardware, fuel, conditions, and test procedure. These figures describe this ESS supercharged M3 project and do not guarantee the same result on another car.
