Lambo decided to produce this Gallardo to honor its legendary test driver with its most intense Gallardo ever. With 552HP, a body to DIE for + a 0-60 time of 3.2 seconds the lambo has little room for improvement, but there was room for variation and perhaps the most significant is an ode to Valentino.
For this Balboni edition Lamborghini they switched to rear wheel drive (rejecting Audi’s 4WD gospel), imparting a friskier, tail happy Gallardo. After all, There are many drivers.. and we suspect that Balboni was amongst them who enjoyed RWD. In our opinion, this is a fantastic ode to the “Official Lamborghini Brand Ambassador”
